Take time to review where drinks and food trays will sit during the theater viewing. You may need accent tables in order to accommodate. When planning out a home theater its important to plan your traffic plans in coordination with the home furniture you pick out. Make sure that there is room for people to get in and out of the room quickly without major disruptions to the theater experience. This is a common mistake in theater furniture set ups. Provide path ways or direct entrance and exit path’s that are not interrupted by a maze of furniture or ottoman’s that can be tripped over. Sectional’s can also turn ottoman’s into extra seating so make sure you have all your available seating converted into such during the theater experience. Finally make sure your furniture is treated with a furniture protector such as Scotch Guard. This will help prevent food stains.
